Progress of PLANACC Consulting

Towards the end of 2020, FFLA began the development of the consultancy: Design of mechanisms and procedures for coordination in the formulation, approval, monitoring, evaluation, updating, and implementation of the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan,” whose process was as follows:

  1. Collection and systematization of secondary information.
  2. Surveys, interviews, and virtual meetings for input collection.
  3. Proposal of methodology and interinstitutional coordination mechanism.
  4. Validation process with the Ministry of Environment and Water of Ecuador (MAAE) and the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan Project (PLANACC).
  5. After five months of hard work and close, coordinated interaction with MAAE and PLANACC, **FFLA** has delivered the final version of the **Methodology and Interinstitutional Coordination Mechanism** for the formulation, approval, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and updating of Ecuador’s National Climate Change Adaptation Plan.

Currently, FFLA is developing two training processes on gender and climate change, one in Chile and another in Ecuador.

She has held management positions in the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, the Lima Parks Service (SERPAR), the Lima Regional Government Program, GEA Group and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Scientific University of the South.
