About us
About us

Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano (FFLA) is a private non-profit organization created in 1994 after the historic Earth Summit. It was born with the vision of being a benchmark in the integration of sustainability in all areas, from governance to natural resource management, including the promotion of equity and social inclusion. For more than 30 years, we have woven key alliances and promoted initiatives that have transformed realities, always with the goal of working for a more just and sustainable future for all.

Mission

To be a leading organization in Latin America that promotes sustainable development, climate change adaptation and the conservation of key ecosystems, facilitating dialogue, empowerment and collaboration among diverse local stakeholders.

Vision

To be a civil society organization recognized as a key player in the region, facilitating strategic processes that promote environmental conservation and climate action, through the articulation of multiple actors, capacity building and the generation of applied knowledge.

Target

To facilitate, articulate and consolidate strategic processes in the region for environmental conservation, climate action and social equality, ensuring that critical ecosystems and water recharge in Latin America are under more sustainable and efficient management.

Our Units

At FFLA, we work holistically across our key units to ensure that our actions and projects are effective, sustainable and aligned with our mission to transform Latin America.

Communication and Knowledge and Knowledge Management Unit

We manage the flow of internal and external information, fostering dialogue, collaboration and participation. Through this unit, we drive strategic communication, create accessible content and manage the knowledge generated in projects, ensuring its availability for informed decision-making and continuous learning.

Administrative and Financial Management Unit

This unit guarantees efficiency and transparency in the administration of resources, supporting the execution of projects with adequate financial planning, budget control and administrative management. It also ensures that the financing and auditing processes are carried out with high standards of responsibility and sustainability.

Biologist and social entrepreneur with Ashoka (www.ashoka.org). President of the company PERIFERIA, Territorios Vivos (www.periferia.pe) and co-director of the Sustainable Cities Platform “MiCiudad” with WWF Peru (www.miciudad.pe). Anna has more than 25 years of experience in development projects and environmental management and urban sustainability consultancies in the NGO, public and private sectors. She has held management positions in the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, the Lima Parks Service (SERPAR), the Lima Regional Government Program, GEA Group and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Scientific University of the South.
